I have added all the bench pictures to the bottom of this post. If you want to view them double click on the first one and you should be able to scroll through - see how many you can name - I will add the titles another day.
We also saw them installing the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower of London - 888,246 ceramic poppies, one for each fatality from World War I. This officially opens tomorrow and will be there until Remembrance Day, when the final poppy will be planted, marking the end of the first world war.
The Royal British Legion are asking everyone to put their lights out from 10pm to 11pm tonight - leaving only a single candle as a symbol of hope and reflection. I have my candle ready.
The skyline along the river is always amazing and the sunset was gorgeous as we headed back to get our train home. As my Dad used to say - my feet were barking at the end of the day - woof!
For Cake Club last week I made Gino D'Acampo's Caprese Cake as it is gluten free. It was so yummy I made it when our visitors were here, we had it with creme fraiche and raspberries. You can find the recipe here.
